Driving course in English
Where our students came from
- For 20 years, we have specialized in teaching English-speaking students from all over the world driving skills and helping them obtain their European driving licence: Great Britain, USA, India, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Egypt, Colombia, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, Vietnam... We have already covered every continent except Australia.
Driving school terms
- Fully qualified and experienced English speaking instructor for both theory lectures and practical training.
- Study materials in English incl. a complete up to date set of test questions provided.
- Only applicants, who have been living in the Czech republic for at least 185 days are eligible for obtaining their driving licence (directive of the EU).
- Applicants need to provide a proof of residency in the Czech republic, e.g. Certificate of Study, Employment Contract, Social security contract etc.
Translation services on exam
Driving test is a state exam and all proceedings must be in Czech language. An applicant who can not speak and read Czech must be accompanied by an authorized "court" interpreter. You can bring yours, or our driving school will provide you with our in-house authorized interpreter for a competitive price (on request), so that you don't need to worry about booking one and haggling over price. All test questions in our e-learning have been reviewed by our interpreter, who will use same language while translating on the exam.

Fair prices. No surcharge for English training
Contrary to usual practice in local driving schools, we don't charge any extra fees for English car training, and only a modest surcharge for motorcycles, since the latter needs to by individually tailored. Same training - same price. We are fair.

Do you already have a licence from a non-EU country?
As a non-EU citizen residing in the Czech republic (e.i. student, employee, enterpreneur) you may only use your international or national driving licence for 185 days. Driving any longer without valid Czech driving (EU) licence will be punished by severe fine and long term driving ban. If you already posess a driving licence from a non-EU country, you may be eligible for a shortened training for lower indivdually tailored price. Inquire us for further details.

What to expect?
Theory lessons
English course is an individual course with no fixed theory lessons dates and times. Instead we schedule lessons according to your free time, preferably in evening hours.
Webinars
If you wish, we can arrange as much theory as possible as online webinars, so you can attend our virtual lessons and stay in your livingroom.
You will get all necessary study materials in English, so you can do your homework.
Driving training
Training begins at our large closed training ground, where you will get familiar with car controls. When you are ready to proceeed to the public road training, we will take you to calm and quiet rural roads first, and then gradually increase your workload.
Eventually you will be able to cope with heavy traffic in the city center.
One regular training lesson takes two school hours (90 minutes).
Theory exam
You will take the theory exam with the asistance of our authorized translator. Theory test consists of 25 randomly chosen questions to be answered within 30 minutes time limit.
Practical exam
Final practical exam takes up to 30 minutes. You must show confident and cautious driving, while following the road code.
